Yomi no Sho — Chronicle of the Underworld

A wanderer's guide to the shadow realm.

Yomi no Sho (黄泉の書, “Book of the Underworld”) is a dark-anime idle RPG set in the shadowed afterlife of Japanese myth. You play a freshly-dead soul who washes up on the banks of Yomi Town with no coin, no memories, and only a borrowed blade to your name. From there you venture outward into eight progressively darker zones, slaying yokai, hoarding loot, and uncovering the slow corruption at the heart of the underworld.

This wiki is a player guide — written by players, for players. It covers every class, every zone, every enemy, every item, every NPC, every quest, and every mechanic in the game. It is intentionally spoiler-light on plot (the story is told through NPC dialogue, not cutscenes) but thorough on numbers, because the combat math is what determines whether you survive the deeper zones.

Glossary, FAQ, and patch notes.

Yomi is not a friendly place. The first combat zone (Withered Bamboo Grove) is gentle, but by zone 3 (Crimson Torii Path) you will be dying to bosses if you haven’t upgraded your gear. By zone 7 (Throne of Kagutsuchi) you will be dying to trash mobs if you haven’t allocated your stats wisely. The wiki documents the math so you can plan ahead, but the game itself rewards caution and preparation — read the zone pages before you travel into a new one.
